Student, Prof to Be on CBC Radio

A University of Guelph graduate student created a program that will be broadcast on CBC Radio's The Current Jan. 19 from 8:30 to 10 a.m.

In the program, Margie Taylor, a student in the School of Environmental Design and Rural Development, examines a rural and remote community undergoing vast social change with the closure of the Red Rock pulp mill in northwestern Ontario.

Rural planning and development professor David Douglas is also featured in the segment.
